About

I’m the leader of Arrested Development, (Scorpio - October 25th) born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent my most influential summers in Tennessee with my grandma. I wear a few hats—producer, lyric writer, dreamer-in-chief, and occasional stage wild card. I first imagined this group fresh out of high school in 1987: everyday folks from the rural South, connected to the land, the community, and a fight for justice.

On Stage

On stage is where I really come alive—possibly too alive, depending on who you ask. I want every night to feel special, not “just another gig,” so I give it everything I’ve got. The crowd isn’t there to simply watch; they’re invited into the experience.

In Their Words

To me, Arrested Development is one of the most special groups in hip hop history because we bring the rhymes, the beats, the dancing, the hope, the inspiration, and the truth—even when the truth pinches a lil bit.

About

I’m 1Love, aka Spencer Love (Gemini - June 21st) from Magnolia, Arkansas, and a proud U.S. Navy Gulf War Veteran with two tours under my belt. Raised in the country, I grew up fishing, hunting, running track, and performing in talent shows at the fair. Today, I’m one of the lead & background vocalists of Arrested Development, bringing rapid-fire rhymes, surgical precision, and high-energy stage presence to every show. I also work the 360 Instant Replay.

On Stage

I began recording and touring with Speech and Arrested Development in 1995 and officially became a member in 2001. Every performance, I give everything I’ve got—connecting with amazing fans around the world through conscious, uplifting, positive life music.

In Their Words

It’s been an incredible journey living out my childhood dream on stage with my musical family.

I’m Tasha LaRae — (Sagittarius November 27th) lead female vocalist for Arrested Development, and a lover of bright colors, positive energy, and all things creative. I’m also a songwriter, mixed media artist, jewelry designer, and proud lifelong crafter.

On Stage

Music has a beautiful way of bringing people together. From the stage, I get to witness strangers become one big musical family, while living my childhood dream of singing songs that uplift and inspire around the world. Truly, a win-win.

In Their Words

Arrested Development has always been about community, connection, hope, peace, and optimism—and I believe the choices we make today can help create a brighter tomorrow.

About

As the group’s primary dancer, vocalist, hype woman—and sometimes stylist—I get to channel the energy of the moment and send it right back with love. Born (Aries - April 12th) in Los Angeles and raised between L.A. and Atlanta, I’m a true Georgia Peach/Cali Girl hybrid, bringing a little West Coast glow and Southern soul to everything I do.

On Stage

For me, the stage is sacred. It’s where creativity, joy, and purpose meet—whether I’m dancing, singing, or sharing a smile with someone in the crowd. There’s nothing better than helping people feel free, uplifted, and fully themselves.

In Their Words

Arrested Development has transformed my life in ways I never could have imagined. From performing around the world and experiencing beautiful cultures, to building deep bonds with my bandmates, I’m truly honored to be part of such a powerful legacy. AD has given me so much, and I’ll always be grateful.
