It was one of the most exhilarating performances of the groups career, the response was mind-blowing, and the campers/music lovers were all moved to the sound of AD! Many world music artist were also featured. AD returns to Tennessee  Under the gorgeous sun of Memphis, next to the flowing river, the musical vagabonds layed down an historical performance in the town that started it all off ...Tennessee! AD rocked Beale Street for the Memphis in May celebration. Many fans saw it as the best performance of the entire event.  Rosie O’Donnell’s Foundation Rosie’s Broadway Kids - has put on a gala event Featuring a special performance by Paul Simon to raise money for her program which teaches kids about the arts. Something AD believes in as well. Vagabond Records & Tapes, AD & Speech donated hundreds of AD MixTapes AND 450 of Speech’s solo album, "The Vagabond" for this events year end Gala gift bags.  The AD band supports America’s Black Holocaust Museum (ABHM) is America's only memorial to the victims of the Black Holocaust.founded to educate the general public of the injustices suffered by people of African Heritage in America, and to provide visitors with an opportunity to rethink their assumptions about race and racism. Speech has been a long toime supporter, but the whole group has stepped their contributions and support to continue to teach the younger generation, so these atrocities will NEVER happen again!  AD performed to huge Florida audience November 10th, Jacksonville. The 1st annual Talleyrand Music festival hosted the groups reunion concert to a great success. After some stage switching drama, it ended up that AD performed on the Jagger stage, instead of the original Mainstage schedule. Once the group got on though, all the other stages cleared out to run & see the AD celebration! "AD's show had the biggest crowd of the entire event", said Jason (Promoter)  Record numbers for AD performance!
AD minus (Baba Oje' & One Love) performed in beautiful Santa Monica Pier at the 23rd Annual Twilight Dance Series Thursday night (Aug. 9th) The promoter Rene said, "Arrested Development drew the biggest crowd we've ever had"! There were over 10,000 people and about 3,000 of them were on the beach dancing under the stars! Speech Preaches in Harlem, NY and Atlanta! Speech was the guest speaker at the Church of Christ, Harlem Ministry Sunday, Sept. 30th. His 6 POINT, 1 hour long sermon was on the huge phenomenon of "the Secret" (book/DVD) and how the bible shows the original source of much of that wisdom. But Speech also went into how the bible drastically differs from the things spoke of in the Secret. The Harlem Church of over 400 excited members had never heard Speech preach before, they were excited and Speech was almost brought to tears by their reception and warmth. They sent him off with gifts, cards and well wishes for the Church in Atlanta. That next Sunday (Oct. 7th), Speech Preached at the Hilton Garden Inn for his home church (GACC) in Atlanta Ga. He and fellow AD band member JJ Boogie did a tag team sermon based on the groups recent trip to Jerusalem, Israel. They did a slide show presentation as well. The audience was very pleased and excited to have them back home and sharing their trip. The lead evangelist, Mike Patterson was away to California, but urged Speech to speak on his recent experiences. Directly after a smokin' 4th of July performance in Speech's hometown of Milwaukee. AD gave back to the community for a free show in Brooklyn, NY. (Below)

Speech plays with Ninja Turtles!  Speech adds, “The trip was incredible! The song is actually, Jamil’s, (Crown Recording artist) but it features myself, Metis and Wise as guests! (They are all from Japan)“ The Japanese Popular music scene is so different than America’s, it’s more bubbly, happy sounding, as opposed to the sex, drugs and violence themes more prevalent in the U.S. Plus they tend to mix a little English in with primarily Japanese words. Speech adds, “I had to be more animated to fit into their style of Hip Hop.” The Japanese artists/Producers were honored to record with Speech, (A Hip Hop Legend in Asia) He attended his first Japanese concert while he was there. Speech adds, “Jamil & I went to see an artist named Micro (Def Tech), but it was sorta like our Summer Jams, so it featured a bunch of openers as well.
